FOR AGENCIES & INDIVIDUALS

ABOUT
The Community Events Program partners with cultural organizations throughout the Southeast to provide free admissions to arts and cultural venues, museums, visual and performing arts events, sporting events, and more. Free admissions and tickets are donated to human service agencies serving systematically disadvantaged communities in the Southeast including individuals with disabilities, at-risk youth, low-income communities, veterans, among other communities.
ARTS InCommunity (AIC) facilitates the distribution and donation of tickets while helping human service agencies and cultural organizations navigate barriers to access.
OUR GOAL
ARTS InCommunity's goal is to remove barriers so constituent groups across the Southeast have access to arts and cultural opportunities. That means free admissions, navigating accessibility challenges, and facilitating communications between agencies, venues, and individuals.
We collectively work alongside our cultural partners to remove financial, environmental, and participation barriers, while fostering engagement from human service agencies serving individuals with diverse abilities.
Every year, we facilitate the donation and distribution of over $1.5 million in value of free admissions to over 100 human service agencies throughout the Southeast.

HUMAN SERVICE AGENCIES
Human service agencies and nonprofit organizations serving systematically disadvantaged communities in the Southeast including but not limited to individuals with disabilities, at-risk youth, low-income communities, veterans, LGBTQ, foster children, individuals with mental health issues.
INDIVIDUALS
Individuals with developmental disabilities in the State of Georgia who are unable to access the program through an affiliation with a direct care program may apply for the program through an Individual Membership.
"Working with ARTS InCommunity has given our youth an opportunity to experience things in life they would otherwise not have the opportunity to participate in or experience. We've been to the ballet, art galleries, botanical gardens, the zoo, sporting events, and more."
